The Cambodian Trust Regulator was established in 2021 to mainly provide relevant legal protection for investors in Cambodia and ensure the safety and compliance of corporate or personal assets and investments. Overseas investors can legally hold real estate, assets, and land in Cambodia through trust companies.
The trust regulator currently accredited 12 trust companies, which manage around 900 landed properties for foreign investors with a total value of approximately US$1.15 billion.
